We are a place for those Photographers that love all things SMALL.




RULES:

Only Members are able to submit.

Click the 'Join Our Group' button located on top, next to "Group Info".
To be accepted, you MUST have some (more than 5) macro photographs already in your gallery (so we know that you understand what macro is).
ONE Membership per person ONLY (no multiply dA accounts, please).
Once accepted, you can start contributing your deviations - please read below for the guidelines.

The only folder open for submissions is the one with actual dates of submission period in the title.

The Macro Tutorials folder is for tutorials ONLY!!!
_{Submitting photos into this folder more than once will terminate your Membership.}


The submissions limit is ONE Macro or Close-up image per Member per submission period (half month).

_{{[It means that anything bigger than 2 inches (5 cm) captured whole in the frame won't be accepted.]}}

The total limit is TWO submissions per month:

ONE between 1st and 13th of every month (GMT).

ONE between 16th and 28th (GMT).

_{Days between submission periods (14th, 15th, 29th, 30th & 31st of each month) are for Gallery maintenance purposes. Please DO NOT submit your images into Favorites during this time.}



Photography category ONLY!
NO photomanipulations, NO photo-montages either, NO heavy post-editing. NO selective coloring.
Single image only, NO compilations, NO textures.
No pictures of pen/pencil scribbles on paper.
No gore, horror, macabre or cruelty.
No Scraps.

Images should be of good quality and follow dA rules of submission - correct size (minimum 400 pixels on BOTH sides) and correct category.

_{Size does matter. We prefer photos which are larger than 400px, this means it will not only look bigger than a postage stamp, but it will also be big enough for others to see details that would otherwise be missed.}



Photographs should be clearly in focus, neat and well presented. No 'Snapshot' images will be accepted.

Your photograph will not be accepted if there is any additional text on it, aside from your signature.

Submissions need to be no older than a few months (because your skills are probably progressing with time, so on a technical level, a recent image is better than one you did three years ago). If you have one that you really want to show that is more than one year old(and already was displayed in 10 Groups or more), then please explain in submission comment WHY?

Reminder: Macro Photography is a technique of taking the shot, NOT photoshopping it.

You can only submit your own Art to Group Gallery.

Collections are for sharing works of others (unless otherwise instructed). Any self-suggestion into Favorites Gallery will be denied.
